About the opportunity
We're looking for a Storeperson & Sales Support to join our Operations team based in Nelson for a permanent, morning shift position working 2am to 10.30am Tuesday to Saturdays.
The main focus of this role is inwards and outwards goods including picking orders, processing and dispatching fresh produce. This role also offers an exciting opportunity to learn & develop your skillset in sales by supporting our experienced sales team to sell across all fruit and vegetable categories. 🍎🍌🍇🥕🥥🥦
Key responsibilities include:
Receiving, storing, picking and dispatching fresh produce
Maintaining stock accuracy and product quality
Develop your skills in pricing, quoting, and negotiation
Support the sales team to create quotes and promotions
Enter and process sales orders
About you
To join our team, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
Previous experience in a Stores/Warehouse environment (preferred)
Physically fit as there will be some lifting of up to 25kg in this role
Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude to enable you to build relationships with customers
Previous experience using SAP desirable and basic computer skills
Good attention to detail
A willingness to learn and develop new skills
A keen and proactive attitude
