As our business evolves, we're creating a Commercial Accountant – Growing role that sits at the intersection of finance and operations. While our finance team is intentionally lean, the scale and complexity of the operation means you'll gain exposure to some of the most important commercial and operational decisions across the business. About the Role

Supporting our Growing and RSE/Labour portfolios, you'll work closely with orchard managers, operational leaders and finance stakeholders to understand performance, identify opportunities and support future investment decisions.

You'll help answer questions such as:

• How can we improve orchard profitability?
• What labour models best support future growth?
• Where should we invest next?
• Which development opportunities create the greatest long-term value?

Your work will include:

• Financial planning, forecasting and budgeting
• Commercial performance analysis and reporting
• Labour and orchard cost modelling
• Orchard development and profitability analysis
• Business case development and investment modelling
• CAPEX and OPEX decision support
• Board reporting and strategic insights
• Continuous improvement of reporting and planning processes

About You

You may currently be working as a Management Accountant, Commercial Accountant or FP&A Analyst and are looking for a role that provides greater exposure to the operational side of a business.

You'll bring:

• CA qualification (or working towards it)
• Experience in management accounting, commercial finance or FP&A
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
• Advanced Excel capability
• The ability to translate data into meaningful business insights
• Strong stakeholder relationship skills

Most importantly, you'll be curious, commercially minded and excited by the opportunity to influence decisions beyond the numbers.
