As part of this journey, we're creating a Financial Planning & CAPEX Analyst role to provide visibility, insight and governance across our growing asset portfolio.

This is more than a fixed assets role.

While our finance team is relatively lean, the breadth of exposure you'll gain across operations, capital projects and strategic decision-making offers significant opportunity to develop your capability and build your career across a much wider organisation.

About the Role

You'll work closely with finance and operational leaders to support asset planning, capital investment reporting and financial analysis across the Apples business.

Every orchard development, infrastructure upgrade and operational investment leaves a financial footprint. This role helps ensure we understand that investment, track it effectively and use those insights to make better decisions in the future.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining and reconciling fixed asset registers
• Supporting CAPEX planning and budgeting
• Monitoring asset performance and investment reporting
• Assisting with cashflow forecasting and expenditure planning
• Preparing reporting for senior leaders and board discussions
• Supporting business cases and investment decisions
• Improving asset management and reporting processes

About You

You may currently work in accounting, commercial finance, financial analysis or asset management and be looking for a role that offers broader business exposure.

You'll bring:

• A finance, accounting or commercial qualification
• Experience in financial or management accounting
• Strong reporting and reconciliation skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong analytical capability
• The confidence to work across multiple stakeholders and systems

Experience with fixed assets, CAPEX management, SAP or Power BI will be highly regarded.
