You’ll play an important part in maintaining smooth packhouse flow while upholding high standards of quality, food safety and productivity.
About the Role
Reporting to the Packhouse Team Leader, you will oversee daily Finished Goods operations, including Accumulation, Palletisation and Forklift activities. You’ll ensure product is correctly labelled, validated and receipted into coolstore, while leading and supporting your team to deliver consistent results.
This role suits someone ready to step into (or further develop within) a supervisory position in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinating daily Finished Goods operations to meet production schedules
Monitoring workflow and equipment functionality, escalating issues where required
Ensuring correct pallet configuration, stacking and labelling standards

Managing part-pallet stock levels efficiently
Leading, training and supporting Accumulation, Palletisation and Forklift team members
Facilitating daily toolbox/T1 meetings to maintain clear communication
Maintaining compliance documentation and supporting reporting requirements
Working closely with Quality and Production teams to ensure food safety and specification standards are met
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the packhouse
Health & Safety
Safety is non-negotiable. You’ll lead by example, ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed, incidents are reported, and risk management requirements are consistently met.
About You
You’ll bring:
Experience in a packhouse, production or FMCG environment (horticulture or food production preferred)
Previous experience leading tasks, crews or supervising within a manufacturing/production setting
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality standards
A solid understanding of food safety and compliance requirements
Confidence using production systems (SAP/Fiori experience advantageous)
A current Forklift Licence
Clear communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships
You’ll be proactive, accountable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and precision matter.
Why Join Us?
This is an opportunity to join a well-established post-harvest operation and contribute to a team that takes pride in delivering high-quality product to market. You’ll have the chance to grow your leadership capability while being part of a supportive and safety-focused environment.
