We’re gearing up for another exciting cherry and stone fruit season 🍒🍑 and are now taking expressions of interest from those keen to join our team in Alexandra, Central Otago.
Whether you're out in the orchard picking cherries or working in the packhouse ensuring our fruit reaches customers at its best, you'll be part of a fast-paced and rewarding environment in one of New Zealand’s most beautiful regions. Full training is provided for all of our roles.
🍒 Orchard Roles
Love working outdoors? Our cherry-picking season runs from late-December till the end of January.
Picking Roles are ideal for motivated people with a good level of fitness who don't mind an early start.
We pick our cherries in Bunches - no need to pick individual cherries!
Good pickers will earn more than minimum wage - the more you pick the more you earn!
You must be comfortable outdoors among the trees, climbing ladders and working with your hands above your head.
Our orchard is located just outside of Alexandra with awesome views all day long.
📦 Packhouse Roles
Picking not your thing? Come join one of our packhouse teams!
We have both a Cherry and a Stonefruit packhouse that need an awesome team of people to Grade, Pack and Stack our wonderful fruit. Our Fruit is for both New Zealand supermarkets and exported to international customers. You will be directly involved in ensuring all fruit that leaves our packing facility is high quality, safe and ready for our customers to enjoy!
Packhouse roles are varied but all staff will need a reasonable level of fitness to be on your feet all day, have good attention to detail and be reliable.
Packhouse season runs from mid-December until end of March, with a range of roles available.
We pick and pack cherries 7 days a week through the season, weather permitting.
We will have several induction opportunities throughout the season as more employees are required. If you're enthusiastic, reliable, and ready to roll up your sleeves, we’d love to hear from you.
Now’s the perfect time to register your interest and be among the first considered once recruitment opens.
