Packing Coordinator

At T&G Global, we grow, pack and deliver fresh produce to customers around the world. Our packhouses are fast-paced, high-performing environments where teamwork, quality and safety come first, and we’re looking for a Packing Coordinator to help lead from the front.

About the role

As a Packing Coordinator, you’ll be a key leader on the packhouse floor, responsible for the day-to-day coordination of packing lanes to ensure quality, productivity and safety targets are consistently met. This is a hands on role for someone who thrives in action, makes confident decisions, and knows how to bring people along with them.

You’ll work closely with Production, Quality and Operations teams to ensure fruit is packed to specification, staff are well-supported, and packing lines run smoothly and efficiently.

We have vacancies in both our day shift, and night shift (3-12pm).

What you’ll be doing

• Leading and coordinating daily packing lane operations in a high-volume environment

• Communicating clearly with packing teams to deliver quality, process and productivity outcomes

• Managing lane, grower and variety changes efficiently and accurately

• Ensuring grade standards, packaging requirements and production plans are met

• Working closely with Quality to maintain food safety, hygiene and compliance standards (BRC)

• Monitoring packaging supplies and anticipating production constraints before they occur

• Supporting staff capability through coaching, training and feedback

• Presenting T1 & T2 morning meetings with confidence and insight

• Maintaining compliance documentation and supporting continuous improvement initiatives

• Actively contributing to T&G’s sustainability goals, including a zero-waste mindset

Health, safety & food safety

Safety and quality are non-negotiable at T&G. You’ll play an active role in:

• Ensuring all Health & Safety and Food Safety requirements are met

• Identifying and reporting hazards, incidents and near misses

• Following correct LOTO procedures and emergency stop protocols

• Maintaining clean, tidy and compliant work areas
