About the opportunity
We're looking for a Forklift Operator to join our Transport team based in Hamilton.
This is a permanent, full time night shift position working Sunday-Friday 7pm to 4.30am.
Key responsibilities include:
Using a forklift to load and unload stock such as orchard bins and pallets from trucks
Work closely with the storeperson on stock processing tasks
Assist the markets side of the business
About you
Highly experienced with forklift operation to load and unload trucks including pallets and orchard bins
Ability to safely operate forklift within confined areas and cold environments (chillers)
Clean driver's license & ideally a current OSH certificate
Ability to safely stack and de-stack stock to different heights in an efficient and timely manner
Physical fitness as some lifting will be involved
A team player - you'll join a team who support each other and roll up their sleeves to get the job done, and you'll get to grow your skills learning other areas within the broader team
