About the opportunity:

This is an exciting role in the dynamic world of fresh produce, where no two days are the same. If you’re ready to build strong relationships, think creatively, and achieve outstanding sales results, this could be the role for you!

What you’ll be doing:

• You’ll be responsible for a sales portfolio across Taranaki, working with key account and trade customers.
• Building strong, long-term relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, from growers to retailers and foodservice operators.
• Handling challenging discussions with confidence, creating win-win outcomes.
• Growing sales to maximize market share.
• Creating and implementing product promotional programs.
• Traveling across the region to connect with growers and customers.
• Using your market knowledge to actively identify and pursue new business opportunities.

About You:

You’ll be highly self-motivated, with a proactive approach to sales and an eye for opportunity. Experience in FMCG sales is advantageous, but more importantly you’ll bring the right attitude and hunger to succeed.

You’ll confidently demonstrate:

• Strong relationship building skills and the ability to build rapport effortlessly across a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Be resilient and approach challenges with persistence, adapting and innovating to achieve results.
• A results-driven mindset, focused on achieving and exceeding targets.
• Use creative thinking and fresh ideas to solve problems and close deals.
• A team player, who enjoys a bit of fun and has a good sense of humour.
