About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced forklift driver to join our production team at our state-of-the-art Apple processing facility. In this key role, you will operate a Toyota IC 3.5t forklift with a customized rollover attachment. This opportunity provides a clear pathway for career advancement, making it an ideal position for individuals eager to grow within the industry.

In addition to the specialized forklift role, we are also looking for experienced forklift operators to support our general production needs. If you have experience operating forklifts in a fast-paced environment and are looking for a rewarding opportunity, we would love to hear from you!
What We’re Looking For:
- Forklift Experience: Proven ability to load and unload with precision and efficiency.
- Twin Forklift Experience: Experience operating twin forklifts is preferable for this role.
- OSH Certified: A valid forklift license with an F endorsement is required.
- Team Player: Positive, adaptable, and always ready to learn.
Key Responsibilities for Specialized Forklift Operators:
- Safely operate a forklift in line with production requirements, using a rolling attachment to carefully submerge apples into the water treatment flume.
- Ensure punctuality in a critical production role.
- Communicate effectively with production supervisors and machine operators.
- Monitor and adhere to production plans, ensuring strong literacy, numeracy, and attention to detail.
- Identify and report machinery faults, escalating issues to the maintenance team as necessary.
- Assist with pre-start checks, clean-down procedures, and end-of-shift requirements.
- Monitor trade waste and report faults, managing blocked sumps and directing assistant water dump staff.
- Understand and apply water treatment methods (FAC/PH) and chemical handling practices (optional but beneficial).
- LPG handling experience is advantageous (but not essential).
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience operating forklifts.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of extended hours during peak periods (including weekends).
