About the opportunity

We're looking for a Finance Business Partner to work alongside T&G Fresh's Growing leadership team and drive strong commercial outcomes for a portfolio of our growing and sales operations. From citrus in Kerikeri, to tomatoes in Tuakau, to apples in the Hawkes Bay, this is a fast-paced, dynamic role for a finance professional looking to take their next career step. Reporting to our GM Commercial, you’ll need to roll your sleeves up and get into the detail, while also providing expertise at a strategic level.

Key responsibilities include:

• Drive progress and execution of performance targets and budgets
• Provide financial reporting, insights and analysis, enabling the business to understand their commercial results for real-time decision making
• Partner with key stakeholders to support commercial decisions and business case development using financial models
• Execute monthly forecasting and provide risk and opportunity insights
• Track performance vs. budget and provide commentary on key cost drivers
• Management of financial activities, ownership of the month-end process
• Monitor, and analyse industry, market, customer and product trends
• Lead and develop a Management Accountant

We offer a flexible, hybrid work environment with a mix of work-from-home and onsite in Mt Wellington and Tuakau. Travel to our growing sites in the North Island will also be required on a monthly basis. About you

• Tertiary qualified in accounting or finance
• 5+ years’ experience in a finance role ready to take the next step 
• Exceptional business partnering capability with a proactive, curious approach
• Strong reporting, analysis, forecasting and budgeting skillset
• Resilience to work at pace and navigate complexity
• Interest in the vibrant horticulture industry and business sustainability
