About the opportunity
We are looking for Seasonal Fruit Counters for our Hawkes Bay Orchards, from the beginning of November 2024 to the start of Feb 2025.
You will be working on one of our Orchards, you will be responsible for flower plucking and counting apples on trees. You don’t need previous experience or skills in horticulture as onsite training is provided. You will certainly stay fit in this role as there is plenty of moving around the Orchard.
About you
We are looking people with a positive attitude and the willingness to learn new skills. Alongside this; the ability to work in warm to hot temperatures and you will have the ability to do physical work and a lot of walking. You will have a keen eye for detail, work well in a team and be comfortable working on a ladder from time to time.
Weekend work is required
You need to be available to work between Christmas and New Year
You will need reliable transport and a drivers licence
