About the opportunity
We're looking for a Logistics Team Leader to join our team based in Nelson.
Joining T&G Global as a Logistics Team Leader is a brilliant opportunity to grow your career.
Reporting to our Coolstore Manager, this role leads, plans, and coordinates all Finished Goods and Dispatch operational functions and people.
Key responsibilities include;
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement
- Lead team members to achieve operational and individual development objectives
- Monitor and manage staffing and hours
- Lead by example on all Health & Safety matters
- Participate in annual budget and capex development
- Ensure compliance is managed on a weekly basis
- Ensure effective relationships are maintained with stakeholders (staff, growers, customers, external suppliers)

- Previous experience in a processing or manufacturing environment
- Positive, energetic, proactive team player
- Engaging and motivating leadership style
- Continuous improvement and productivity mindset
- Strong problem solver with a solution focus
